I am so excited to be running as your Greens candidate for Malvern
I’m a disability advocate and researcher based in Malvern who is ready to fight for our local community. Prior to acquiring a spinal injury, I worked as a psychologist which helped me to develop an understanding of the importance of listening, recognizing the issues, and advocating for what is right. .
Through my advocacy work on disability advisory and advocacy committees and boards, I’m able to combine both professional expertise and lived experience. This work has given me a deep understanding of both the systems that serve people and the real-world impact of policy decisions.
Malvern needs good, honest leadership, and representation that advocates for every member of our community, and leadership that starts with compassion.
The Greens track record
In the balance of power in parliament the Greens have secured:
$60 million to protect nature and get homes and businesses off gas
Renting reforms including banning no grounds evictions and rental bidding
5000 more empty homes available by making the tax on empty homes stronger
$150 million for bike lanes and pedestrian safety
Proudly supported the first Treaty in Australia
Stopped the renewal of the MoU with Israeli Ministry of Defence
